I served as a fire-fighter for 24 years so this charity is very close to my heart! The Fire Fighters Charity provides much need support to severely injured fire-fighters and to the families of fire-fighters who have been killed in the line of duty! I am also an ex-soldier as I served for three years in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers during the 1980s.
